Gafchromic in vivo Dosimetry System

New Launch

Our new gafchromic™ film-based in vivo dosimetry system brings innovation to the forefront of radiation monitoring, providing unparalleled precision in real-time dose verification

 A Versatile Solution

Transform your radiation therapy monitoring process with:

  • Straightforward setup and automated calibration process.

  • Automated roi capture, documentation and reporting features.

  • Safeguarding alerts built into the software module for user experience & towards maximizing precision

  • Single use (gafchromic™ film based): pnt-dos™ device can be used  for both high and low dose photon and electron measurements making it a long-term, cost-efficient dosimetry tool.

Key Features and Benefits

  • Near real-time in vivo dose solution

    • Precisely measures ionizing radiation surface doses immediately after delivery, help ensuring compliance with prescribed treatment plans.

    • Provides immediate feedback for accurate dose delivery during radiation therapy.

  • Gafchromic™ film technology

    • Industry-leading radiation-sensitive films for exceptional sensitivity and accuracy.

    • No need for external power or cables—completely passive operation.

    • Eliminates electronic interference in sensitive treatment environments.

  • Non-invasive and patient-friendly

    • Compact Gafchromic film-based technology flexible, biocompatible design that conforms easily to the patient’s anatomy.

    • Seamless placement ensures patient comfort during prolonged procedures

pnt-dos Device Type (Gafchromic Film based)

  • Measurement range: up to 400 cgy

  • Accuracy: +/- ±10 cgy for low dose [doses <80 cgy] & ±5% for high dose [80cgy to 400 cgy].

  • Size: 1cm × 1cm active area (region of interest)

  • Engineered to deliver precise measurements that empower clinicians to confidently fine-tune radiation doses.

  • energy dependence: energy dependence analysis revealed deviations of up to ±5% (results during validation) for megavoltage photon and electron energies.

  • Angular dependence: maximum variation ±3% (results during validation) when the beam passed through the posterior oblique side of the device.

  • Daily qc/reproducibility tests confirmed optical scanner
    system constancy.

  • Time-resolved calibration enabling near real-time readouts
